I've heard you have to jump through hacky hoops to get it to back-up a NAS as well. I've always heard good of Backblaze, but they still don't have a linux client. And, unfortunately I cannot find any that will work for me.

So I've started to look for alternatives. So, I'm going to guess that I wont be able to convince them that unlimited should mean unlimited. This doesn't seem to work for me, because 10.5TB is bigger than 5TB. So I'm assuming I'm using too much space. But they want to bump be to their 5TB plan. They are being very vague about what that means. Well, it's coming time to renew, and this morning I received an email from SpiderOak telling me that my account is in violation of their terms. This has been the case for years, no significant change recently or anything. In total, I currently have about 10.5TB stored with them, mostly from my NAS.

I have it setup with my FreeNAS system and a few of my MacOS laptops and Windows desktops. So I've used them for years, and even had to restore a few things from them. I still have the original emails about it (I'm a data hoarder, of course).
